The firms KARL DEUTSCH (www.karldeutsch.de) and MR CHEMIE (www.mr-chemie.de) are two very successful and well known medium-sized family-owned and operated global companies with a focus on non-destructive materials testing.
So, to proactively and economically counter the ever increasing challenges resulting from volatile market conditions in a customer-oriented manner, both companies have decided to work together on a strategic, project-based product development project in connection with their growing product ranges.
It is important for both companies that their high-quality product solutions are produced in Germany. This guarantees that their customers' stringent quality requirements are met, while also contributing to the growth of the regional and country's economy. It also minimises the impact of currently volatile supply chains and fluctuating prices of raw materials.
A first product of this co-operation is a new, innovative UV-LED handheld lamp developed and manufactured 100% in Germany. This new UV-LED lamp is the result of an extensive collaboration between both companies and their customers. This new version with several benefits will soon be on the market.
The results of this project-based collaboration will also bring new, improved and innovative NDT solutions to partners and customers.

Owner-managed KARL DEUTSCH has been developing and manufacturing equipment for non-destructive testing of materials since 1949. Around 130 employees produce portable testing devices, fixed testing systems, sensors and chemical crack detection media for the UT, MT and PT techniques in two plants in Wuppertal. The company employs a further 20 people in branch offices abroad and is supported in its export business, which represents over 60% of its turnover, by a global network of distributors.
